The problem
Sometimes people want to consult a professional veterinarian about the question they have about their pet, but it is not always convenient to come with the pet to the clinic for a variety of reasons like - pet anxiety, the pet has difficulty in mobility, the clinic is physically far away, etc.
market research
I examined, among other things, Maccabi's app “K Health” - There you can get medical consult in AI, I checked apps for real-time consultation with veterinarians, as well as the Facebook group "Ask a veterinarian".
Task flows
After seeing what information and actions are more and less important in the products I examined, I created Task flows tailored to my product and the problem I wanted to solve.
User Flow
I started by producing a flow chart of the user to the various pages in the product.
As part of this user flow, I started to map out the screens.
In the Wireframing I referred to the different uses of the user in the app; Creating a pet profile, live veterinary counseling, and community discussions.
UI Kit
The design language of the product combines interesting but calm colors, inspired by medical and vet applications. The design of the app is clean and brings its content to the forefront of the stage.
The final product
Wizard profile building
In the initial login to the app, the user builds a personal profile for his pet.
This allows important information to be kept about the pet such as known diseases, age, and weight; While the user sees the illustration changing according to the parameters of his pet.
Veterinary Consulting
In the main screen of veterinarians, you can see which veterinarians are connected, what their names are, and in which clinic they work. Favorite veterinarians can be saved so they will always appear at the top of the list. In addition, the first veterinarian on the list is Anna, the virtual veterinarian. The user can talk to AI and get service even when no veterinarian is available. If Anna recognizes that the questions require immediate medical attention, she navigates to the clinic closest to the user through his location.
A conversation with a veterinarian is conducted so that the user sees that the veterinarian is typing and that there is someone behind the screen,
In a conversation with the digital veterinarian Anna, the conversation is with an AI bot, so there are choices that arise based on the user's answers, in case the system detects a medical emergency a live navigation opens.
